Christina Kim made a few appearances in the American press during December. Sports Illustrated featured a photo of Christina and LPGA legend Amy Alcott. It appeared in a story about current LPGA golfers and old timers they resembled in terms of style.

Christina also appeared in a New York Times article which talked about how, this off season, she planned on taking it a little easier than she did last Winter.

Lastly, Christina signed a new sponsorship deal! The deal is with Linda Hipp designs, and Christina will wear their clothes on course until 2008. It's about time someone extended Christina an offer like that! LIJA, as the company is known, will find the deal well worth it I'm sure!

Ji Yai Shin was one of four young up and coming KLPGA rookie stars featured in a profile in a recent Korean Magazine. You can see her in the upper right in the left photo. The right photo is Ji Yai by herself.

The other three golfers featured in the article were (L to R): Min Gee Song, Ji Hyun Woo, and Su Jung Yoon

The LPGA published an article detailing what some of next year's rookies are planning for their New Year's resolutions. In-Kyung Kim and Ji Young Oh both are hoping to be the 2007 LPGA Rookie of the Year. Irene Cho is just hoping she enjoys next year, while Eun-Hee Ji is hoping to get into as many tournaments as she can with her conditional status. Seo-Jae Lee is going to work hard and try to get into a lot of fields as well, but Hyun Hee Moon says she wants to be #1 on the KLPGA tour money list, which suggests she is not going to be playing over here too much. Jane Park wants her practice to be as productive as possible.

2006 was a great year for the Korean players all over the world; it sounds like 2007 may even be better!
