Over Shani Waugh in 4 hole playoff
Weather delayed the start of round 1 by four hours. As a result, Se Ri was not able to get her first round completed. She was 2 under when play halted, and finished the round at 1 under. In the second round, played only a couple hours later, Se Ri was on fire, shooting a flawless seven birdie 65, which was the low round of the day. This vaulted her into third place, three shots behind Karrie Webb. Paired with Webb and Shani Waugh in the third round, Se Ri went three under on the front nine, then, after a bogey on the tenth hole, birdied four in a row. It all came down to 18, where she sank a clutch 15 footer to go into a playoff. After several more clutch shots, she had a chance to win on the 4th playoff hole when Waugh's drive went into the water. Se Ri hit a poor shot to the green, but saved par with an 18 foot putt for the win.
