Although she did not win in 2017, it was in many ways her breakout year. She had an astonishing 15 top tens, including two runner up finishes and a third. She made 468 million won, 8th on the money list. All of these were her career bests, and for the first time she was considered a true star on tour.

Park continued to be a big name on and off for the next few years. In 2018 she finished 18th on the money list with 7 top tens. Her best finishes were a pair of thirds. In 2019 she finished 13th on the money list and grabbed her second career win, at the Hyosong Champions event at the start of the season. In the Covid-shortened season of 2020, she struggled a bit, notching only one top ten and finishing 47th on the money list with 107 million won earned.

Park returned to form again in 2021. She got her third career win at the S-OIL again, had six total top tens, and earned 387 million won, 19th on the money list.

But 2022 proved to be her best year yet, and the first time where Ji Young really established herself as one of the best players on tour. She earned 725 million won, 8th on the money list, which included her fourth win and two runner up finishes among 11 total top tens. Her win that season came at the Mediheal.

2023 was an even better year, with Ji Young seriously contending for all the top awards on tour. She won three times in total, tied with Yewon Lee, and finished third on the money list, coming just short of a billion won with 989 million won total. One of her three wins came at the KB Star Championship, her first career Major. She finished fourth in scoring average and 7th in Player of the Year points (although for a while she led the league in both). In addition to the three wins, she had 2 runner ups and 10 total top tens.

2024 was another fantastic year for Ji Young. She once again finished third on the money list, with 1.11 billion won earned, and once again claimed three wins, tying her for most wins during the season. She was also second in scoring average and third in Player of the Year points. Park got hot out of the gate, winning the Mediheal in April. Just a few weeks later she followed that with a third at the year's first Major, the KLPGA Championship, and a second win at the Kyochon 1991 Ladies Open. Her third win of the year was the most important, at one of the year's Majors, the Hanwha Classic. In all, she had eleven top tens, including the three wins, a runner up and a third.

Ji Young also played at the Evian Championship, her first try at a Major, but missed the cut.
