Won a one hole playoff over Lorie Kane
Hee-Won started well by shooting a three under par 69 in cool weather. In the second round, when the weather was freezing, rain frequently interrupted the round, and the wind at times was ferocious, Han continued her great play, even climbing into a tie for the lead at 6 under before falling back to 4 under. In the final round, she moved up to 8 under, just one shot below the lead, before a bogey on 14 looked like it might derail her efforts. But she immediately birdied 15, then nearly made a birdie on the almost impossible 17th hole (the ball lipped out). Finally she nailed an iron on 18 to five feet and made birdie to climb into a share for the lead. When Lorie Kane was not able to make an 8 footer for birdie on the same hole, they ended up in a playoff. Playing 18 again, Hee-Won hit her approach even closer, and when Kane missed a 70 foot birdie attempt, Hee-Won dunked hers for her third career victory and first as a married lady.
