In these two pictures, Se Ri Pak hangs out with Minny Yeo. She touches her shoulder, but what can it mean? I'm not sure, but here are two great pictures to enjoy! (Click to see the full sized versions)
Yong-Bin was hanging out, taking pictures of Se Ri, Minny, Hee-Won Han and Jung Yeon Lee, when someone asked them to pose. Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, he also got a picture of them in that pose. And he passed it on to us! Lucky!
If it looks like Se Ri and Grace are fighting in these pictures, you're correct! Here's the story! Yong-Bin saw Grace Park and Se Ri Pak together on the practice green. Se Ri had with her a 'dduk', a Korean rice cake. She fed it to Grace so that Grace would not have to take her golf gloves off to eat it. Naturally, Yong-Bin wanted to get a photo of that, so he went up to them and asked them to reenact the scene. Grace volunteered to feed Se Ri this time, and took the remainder of the dduk from Se Ri's hand. But Se Ri had recently eaten and did not want to have anything else, so when Grace tried to force it on her, this playful scuffle ensued. Don't think Grace ever got any dduk into Se Ri, but the pictures still turned out pretty well, don't you think?
Yong-Bin had a great time at the State Farm, getting autographs from almost every Korean player you could imagine, as well as a big collection of their gloves! His son is one lucky kid to have met them all like that! Here are a couple links of his son posing with the ladies. This first one has him with Grace Park, Se Ri Pak and Jimin Kang. The second link has Hee-Won Han, Mi Hyun Kim and Gloria Park. Enjoy. Thanks, Yong-Bin!
Seoul Sisters contributes to another magazine article You may wonder what I contributed? Just a little background about the
Korean phenomenon taking place all over the world in women's golf. Apparently,
Australia is no more immune than the US is to Seoul Power. Way to go,

Seoul Sisters at the Safeway Just a little note that Seoul Sisters.com will be once again going on site to cover an LPGA tournament. This time it will be the Safeway Classic coming up next week in Portland. Forgive the smaller than normal issue this week, because as usual, I expect a ton of photos and stories to come out of that tournament. Stay tuned! |

Grace's Rolex ad during the Solheim Did you all miss the Sisters last week during the Solheim Cup? Well, their absence was made a little easier to take because of a new commercial they showed repeatedly during the coverage. It was a Rolex ad that featured Annika Sorenstam, Carin Koch, Paula Marti... and Grace Park! Yup, with dramatic music in the background, we got to witness Grace and the other ladies hit a bunch of powerful looking shots, and look good doing it. But leave it to Grace to ham it up a bit: after watching all these serious looking golfers, they cut to a shot of Grace with a big silly grin on her face, then back to more serious faces. Grace will always find a way to stand out in a crowd! |
